European Blackjack Slot Review, RTP & Free Play

European Blackjack Review & Free Play

One of the most popular casino games that players play in both brick and mortar casino and also online casinos, is European Blackjack. It is one of the oldest games that you will find in a casino, and there are many different ways in which you can play it. Blackjack is a game that everyone can enjoy, you could play it for 2 minutes or 2 hours and walk away with some money. Unlike slots, blackjack is less luck based and your own decisions can reflect massively on the outcome of the game. As well as this, you are not only playing against the dealer, you sometimes can play against other people, or with other people in order to beat the dealer. With a slot it is completely different, it is just you trying to beat the slot machine.

Blackjack also offers the best RTP to players in comparison to all casino games, which is even more of a reason to play it. The concept of blackjack is not to difficult to understand and it makes for a really good play. In this review, we will take a look at this blackjack game that is brought to us by Microgaming, one of the best software developers in the industry. This is a computerised European blackjack and is not a live blackjack game, which means that the game is programmed to show cards at random and you do not see a live dealer shuffling the cards.

How to Play European Blackjack:

There are certain rules and ways in which you play online blackjack. These rules of course are certain and cannot be changed, however you can change the outcome of each round based on the decisions you make. The aim of blackjack is to get a higher value of cards than the dealer, without going over 21. If you lose, you lose your stake, if you win, you get double your stake back in return and if you draw with the dealer, this is what is called a “push”, your stake is returned and then for the next round, the blackjack pays out at 3/2.

European Blackjack plays with 2 decks of cards, using 52 of the cards. This is so that players will struggle to count cards in order to predict

On the blackjack table, you will have certain buttons, these buttons decide what stake you bet and what move you make next. There is a “+” and a “- “, which will control whether you increase or decrease your betting stake. Of course, the plus sign will increase, and the minus will decrease. There is also a button which is the deal button, once you press this, the dealer will deal your car. There is also a button for other moves that you can make, such as “Hit”, “Double Down”, “Split” and “Stand”. The rules of these buttons are explained bellow.

  • Hit: A hit is when you request another card from the dealer in order to increase your total, but without trying to go over the 21 value.
  • Split: If you have 2 cards of the same value, then you can split them into 2 different hands, increasing your chances of winning as you now have 2 chances to hit 21 in one round.
  • Stand: If you are happy with the value of your cards and don’t wish to go any higher, then you can stand, hoping that the dealer will not beat this value.
  • Double Down: You can double your betting stake if your first 2 cards add up to either 9, 10 or 11. This cannot be an option if an Ace is included, unless the value of that Ace is 1.

If the first card that the dealer turns over for themselves is an Ace, then you get the chance to take out insurance. This will cost you half your wager and it will return at 2/1 if the dealer does end up having blackjack.

Blackjack RTP:

The return to player rating for this European blackjack game stands at around 99.83%, which is extremely high and is the evidence that this is one of the highest RTP casino games. This is also a very convincing amount to persuade players to play.
